Computer Build.

The motherboard was finally decided. I decided, since I was going to go with Nvidia after all, I might as well get an Nvidia boarded chipset. This really not much to explain on this deparment, I know this computer build is getting kinda bland listing the parts so soon I will start by updating pictures of when I have the actual parts and showing the build process itself. I really enjoy the board colors if I must say. Very aggressive, one of the best looking boards on the market I believe. Although the price is a little heavy, it is one of the better boards on the market.

Definitely a pretty board. Now I just need to find some ram and finish it off with my power supply. I decided for ram and power supply OCZ is a great brand that I thought produced some great priced stuff with great performance. I was most likey going to let my Ram be OCZ as well with my PSU. I'll throw in some pictures under!

Here is the power supply that I Picked out. Also OCZ, but great for the price. 700W for $105.00. Great deal and I hope to be able to say later to recommend it. That's it for now!

In terms of processing and overclocking; this card was too good to pass up. I had originally plan to go with the same card as my friend Marc which would be the AMD Phenom X4 2.6Ghz 9950 Black Edition. However; due to reviews of not so great overclocking and AMD Being bought out, I don't really want to be supporting this product exclusively. I'll list the picture below but, honestly who the hell cares about looking at a processor? They all look the same in the end.

In terms of cooling; I had opted to go with the Zerotherm; because to according to my trusty reviewers at www.bit-tech.net they were saying that their LG775 heatsink is the best on the market at max fan speed ;however the thermalright can do the same performance about without a fan; making it completely silent. Considering all thermalrights products are constantly sold out on newegg; I gave up on them and realized i'll go with the zerotherm. It won't be much longer until I end up going with watercooling after I sli later and start massively overclocking all of my rig.

Well it looks like i've decided on a couple other parts as well. Mainly I decided to go with the BFG Tech GTX 260 OCZ Overclocked edition. I went with it; mainly because of my budget. It's almost identical performance to a GTX 280 and very close to a 4870X2, without the price drawbacks. Here's the picture of it. Looks pretty sleek; something that Nvidia is known well for.

Alright so I'm having a bit of a hard time with the parts to buy; I've been researching for two months with a certain budget. Ever so slightly I keep running up that budget and now I think I can say I'm 90% certain this is my setup.

For the case I'm going with the :
Zalman GS-1000

I've already purchased this so I'll continue with the Updates later.

First Post!

Hey guys, starting a new blog that's going to be dedicated about my workout log, gaming review log and personal computer modding. Most likely I'll be throwing in other random aspects of things I find interesting but stay tuned!
